Our History

BDO Partners, then known as Burah Hathy & Co, was established in 1958 as a two partner firm and over the years has grown into one of the leading firms of Chartered Accountants in Sri Lanka. BDO International in the year 2000, appointed BDO Burah Hathy as a member firm of BDO-International to cater to the needs of it’s international clients carrying on business in Sri Lanka and in the region.

With effect from 1st January 2010 BDO Burah Hathy changed its name to BDO Partners. At present BDO Partners is armed with 7 Partners and backed by over 250 staff who provide professional services to it’s local and international clients from varied business sectors around the world.

Our head office is located in the heart of Colombo and our branch office is in Kurunegala. We also have two associate companies handling our secretarial and consultancy work.
