The Managing Partner of BDO Partners possesses audit and consultancy expertise over 25 years. An expert in Managing Business Advisory Services covering a wide range of industries from general trading, apparel, real estate, leisure management and plantations to name a few. In addition to being a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, he holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka.

At present, he serves as the Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sri Lanka and as the International Liasion Partner (ILP) of BDO International to BDO Partners, Sri Lanka.

He is also a  Member of the Confederation of Asia Pacific Accountants Board as a Technical Advisor representing ICASL and the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board.

The Partner in-charge of Human Resource of BDO Partners is a fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. She has over 33 years of experience in providing Audit & Assurance services in various industries including finance companies, export companies, charities & NGO's, health care, aviation, cargo and freight handling just to name a few.

She holds a Fellowship of the Society of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. She has also carried out foreign aid projects related to the World Bank and the European Union covering the private and public sectors. In addition to carrying out audit and consultancy services her mission at BDO Partners Sri Lanka extends to empowering staff and maintaining the ethical values and discipline in the BDO working environment.

She has participated in many conferences held locally and overseas. Her interests include music, current & international affairs and active involvement in community services.

The Tax Partner of, BDO Partners Sri Lanka counts over 25 years of expertise in tax advisory, financial accounting, and management consultancy related services. A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, he provides consultancy services to small and medium enterprises (SME) and large companies covering areas related to company taxation and commercial law thereby supporting clients in advisory on tax planning and in preparing tax declarations.

Tishan is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and has earned an enormous exposure in local and overseas audit and consultancy sectors covering the United States and the Africas.

His area of management expertise has been cherished by the unique exposure gained in multi ethnic and multi cultural environments , in addition to his specializations in general financial accounting, tax, audit and in providing, developing and enhancing management information systems, information security services to large conglomerates. A specialist in internal controls advisory for integrated and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Tishan is a Certified Information Systems Auditor [USA].

		Mr. H. Sasanka Rathnaweera (ACA, ACMA)
Sasanka is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He has over 6 years experience in providing audit and assurance services in various industries including in finance, export, healthcare, aviation, cargo and freight handling Companies in addition to NGOs, with local and foreign exposure. He has also carried out various international assignments related to the World Bank and the European Union covering both, the public and private sectors. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.
		Mr. Ashane Jayasekara (ACA,ACMA-UK, BSc, MBA)
Ashane who heads the Risk Advisory Services Division is an IT Graduate of London Guildhall University, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants [UK]. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland. He is a Certified Internal Auditor [USA] and a Certified Financial Services Auditor. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Sri Lankan Chapter of IIA Global Inc. He has experience in providing internal audit services to over 90 companies of various sectors.
		Mr. Saman Sirilal (ACA,ACMA)

Saman is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He articled at BDO Sri Lanka and then joined Price Water House Coopers – Botswana as a Senior Accountant. He was a Manager at PWC when he left PWC to join BDO as a Partner.

While at PWC he received an award in 2007 for being the “Most Hardworking” employee at PWC Botswana. He was a manager in Continuing Improvement Review Process(CIR)  and a trainer of the firm in 2008/09, in addition to carrying out various assignments related to the Insurance, broadcasting, hospitals/life and health care industries.

His has experience in providing assurance services to foreign conglomerates (cross boarder audits) in education, water utilities and power consumption sectors.

 
He also specializes in investment analysis, UNDP projects, HIV Aids projects and investigations of specialised Banks.

He is a fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.

He is currently following a Masters Degree in Business Administration of the  University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
